1. Deadly Illusions
Currently, Deadly Illusions is ranked #1 in Netflix's "Top 10 Movies in the U.S. Today." Deadly Illusions is directed by Anna Elizabeth James. Famous cast members include: Kristin Davis and Dermot Mulroney. Deadly Illusions is a psychological romance film. Mary, a successful author of thriller novels, has been assigned by her publisher to write a book series. Mary and Tom hire a nanny for their children so Mary can focus on her books. Soon a love triangle beings to form between Mary, Grace (nanny), and Tom. Mary is so invested in her book she cannot figure out if what she is seeing is real or apart of her dreams.
This movie does make you think, however it is terrible. The movie is so cringe and the climax actually made me laugh. I wouldn't recommend watching this with younger audiences as it is rated "R" due to sexual content, nudity, violence, and language. I rate this movie as a definite "pass."
2. The College Admissions Scandal
As of now, The College Admissions Scandal, is sitting at #2 under Netflix's "Top 10 Movies in the U.S. Today." The College Admissions Scandal was directed by Chris Smith. Starring cast members include: Matthew Modine. The College Admissions Scandal is a documentary film. This film goes into depth about investigating the mastermind scam to get kids of rich and famous families into elite colleges all across the country
I typically don't like documentaries, but this was very interesting! It goes into lot of depth about how the entire scandal actually went on. This movie is really good and is going down as a "watch."
3. Yes Day
Right now, Yes Day, is at #3 in Netflix's "Top 10 Movies in the U.S. Today." Yes Day was directed by Miguel Artera. Famous cast members include: Jennifer Garner, Jenna Ortega, and Edgar Ramierz.Yes Day is a family comedy. Strict parents of kids who usually say "no" to their kids' requests, decide to switch it up for a day and say "yes" to their kids' most bizarre requests
This movie is fantastic! If you like family comedies, this is for you! However, it is a little cheesy, but aren't all family comedy movies? This movie is a definite "watch."

I haven't heard of the first two movies, but I saw my brothers, sister, and one of my parents watching "Yes Day" and they seemed to enjoy it. I've only seen a couple of parts, myself, but it seems like it is a good movie. The documentary seems relevant to students who are seniors, as they are about to go off to college. The first movie definitely had the potential to be good, but it sounds like it was poorly written, not the kind of movie I would watch anyway, but I can see why people would enjoy it.
